Best Builds And Best CPUs: Community Roundup

The Tom's __hardware Community is constantly busy. Whether our members are discussing the site's latest articles and reviews, providing tech support and building advice, or playing the latest PC Games, we have so much great stuff going on that it could make your head spin! Not to worry -- Community Roundup is here to let you know the best of what's going on in the Tom's Hardware forums on a regular basis.

  • We updated our Best PC Builds feature with your valuable input. Unlike the System Builder Marathon, these configurations are not chosen by Tom's Hardware's editors. They are submitted and selected by our forum members based on defined pricing tiers. Every so often, we ask the community for its help picking parts based on performance and features for the price. Feel free to quibble in the forums.
  • We also managed to update our list of Best CPUs for the money. Our CPU Charts have been recently updated to include new benchmarks, workloads, and more than 50 CPU test subjects. We’ll continue adding to the list just as we have in the past. The CPU Heirarchy Table has also been updated and is now located in its own separate article. Let your expert opinion be heard and join the conversation.
  • Our Favorite Video Game Thread is still going strong in the PC Gaming forum. Be sure to join the conversation and let us know what you've been playing lately. There are many great suggestions, such as The Witcher 3, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and The Witness. After you've picked a game, make sure to check out our Big List of PC Gaming Tutorials for the latest walkthroughs on some of this year's most popular games.
  • User AZNDkflush just purchased a pre-built computer, but unfortunately he has terribly low FPS--even lower than on his laptop. He's already updated his drivers to the latest and has a pretty beefy PC to boot. His specs include an Intel Core i7-6700, 16GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GTX 1070. Can you lend him and hand? Give us your expert opinion in the forums.
